Georgios Samaritakis is a Research & Development Engineer at the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas, Institute of Computer Science (FORTH-ICS), Information Systems Laboratory and the Centre for Cultural Informatics (CCI), since 2004. He holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology from the University of Patras, Greece (2000).

His main interests include database and information systems, web design, cultural informatics, document management systems and multilingual language tools.

He is responsible for the design and implementation of several tools provided by the Information Systems Laboratory such as FeXML, 3MEditor, FastCat and also several web sites created during the last 20 years.
